In preparation of new great things we are developing in the
OpenStreetMap community - and which I obviously don't want to spoil
right now - we had a wonderful collaboration with Nicaragua's most
progressive design studio NINFUS to create a
better logo for the community.
Together with the most active people in the community and the designers of NINFUS we went on several iterations until we came up with this proposal and approved it in the wider community. It really looks great and is much more practical than before, as this has less colours and works also in smaller scales.
